The United Nations climate conference COP28 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) will start in less than 50 days.

The global labour movement is organising to defend workers’ rights at this important event. Workers and their families are experiencing ever-increasing disastrous impacts of the climate crisis. That is why we ask for a labour focused Just Transition; for the design of climate policies with workers and their unions at the table. 

ITUC will organise two briefings on COP28 to cater for time zones in the East and West. We will present our updated demands (a note will follow later) and provide logistical information. The meeting will be in English without translation.
